Cancellations

Due to high demands on appointments, Arch Dental Surgery has a cancellation policy that requires all patients to contact the practice with at least a minimum of 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel an appointment, This allows the cancelled slot to be offered to someone else. All private appointments including hygiene appointments are chargeable and no further appointments will be made until the bill is cleared.

NHS patients who DO NOT attend  2 NHS appointments will unfortunately forfeit their NHS status. This means that all future appointments will only be offered on a private basis and payment will be requested in advance of the appointment. NON ATTENDANCE WASTES HUGE AMOUNTS OF SURGERY TIME AND INCURS COSTS WHICH CANNOT BE RECOUPED WHEN A PATIENT IS INCONSIDERATE AND DOES NOT COME FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT OR CANCELS AT SHORT NOTICE.

Exemption from Payment

If you are exempt from paying NHS dental treatment fees you MUST bring evidence to every single appointment. If evidence is not presented at the time of your treatment it will be chargeable. Please note - medical exemption cards do not entitle you to free dental work.
