Dr Bhargavi 'Sangi' Bhatt

Dental Surgeon

BDS Lond 1996, BSc(Hons), AKC.

Sangi qualified at Kings College London, Dental School in 1996. She did her post graduate house job at Birmingham dental hospital for a year and then a year in a training practice.

Sangi has lived and worked in the Ashtead area since 1998 and has developed close ties with the local community. She started working for Mike Cave and eventually took over the practice in 2006.

Sangi has dedicated her whole career to working for the NHS and has done so since qualifying in 1996, almost 25 years of service. 

Since taking over, she has developed and expanded the practice and in 2011 relocated to our brand new premises in Ottways Lane.

Sangi has considerable experience in treating children and nervous patients and is able to be understanding and considerate when dealing with these situations. She takes time to explain all treatment options to patients to allow them to make informed decisions. 

Sangi has also spent over 20 years as a trainer for nurses and mentoring dentists who wish to join the NHS community. She always welcomes anyone who would like to gain work experience in this field and has inspired numerous people to join the profession as nurses, hygienists and dentists. 

She is an experienced skier and enjoys spending time supporting her 3 beautiful and very accomplished  daughters.

Dr Kushali Bhatt-Roberts

Dental Surgeon

BDS 

Kushali started working at the practice when she was 14 as a part-time receptionist. She trained and qualified as a dental nurse in her gap year and then went off to dental school in Valencia to train as a Dental Surgeon. She has learned to do dentistry and speak Spanish in this time, so working for the NHS will now bring some new challenges which she has tackled with grace and efficiency. 

She qualified in 2019 and is now working at the practice in every role that has been thrown at her, from decontamination nurse to managing the new computer system. 

She is a competition level skier and loves to cook amazing meals. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her boyfriend, Conor. 

Rachel Gough

Dental Hygienist

Rdh Birmingham 2000

Edt Liverpool 2006

Rachel has been in the dental industry for nearly 25 years. In 2006 she won the Oral B prize in clinical excellence.

Her philosophy is to gain a healthy mouth through thorough but gentle treatments using modern and traditional techniques in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

She loves running and her cats.

Sheena Fogg

Dental Hygienist

Dip Dental Hyg Aldershot 2000 

Defence Dental Agency

Sheena has worked in dentistry for 30 years and qualified as a dental hygienist whilst serving in the Royal Army Dental Corps in 2000. 

Sheena believes that everyone has the right to feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair and uses a calm and professional manner to treat patients.

She has 2 boys that keep her busy and an amazing husband, who runs candlelit baths for her to enjoy after work. 

Her hobbies include adding glitter to just about anything!

Paula Goddard

Lead receptionist 

Paula joined the reception team in 2021. She has done an amazing job of taking on the role and the challenges that have arisen in the last few years. She manages the diaries and supports new team members in their roles. 

Pauls loves to spend as much time as possible with her grandson and loves to get her teeth into a good TV drama. 

Alyne Rangifo da Silva Oshiro

Trainee Dental Nurse

Alyne is a qualified Dentist who relocated to the UK many years ago and is currently re-entering the world of dentistry by gaining a qualification as a dental nurse. 

Alyne can be heard singing every day that she is working. She is a very capable member of staff who will do anything to help the smooth running of the practice. 

She loves to cook and spend time with her gorgeous son. 

Sarah Benson

Trainee Dental Nurse, part time.

Sarah joined the Team in 2022 as a trainee dental nurse. She is currently working towards achieving her Dental nurse qualification. She has a fun bubbly personality which rubs off on staff and patients alike. There is always laughter in the room when Sarah is there. 

She rises to the challenge of looking after her young children and loves to unwind with a glass of wine. 

Devi Bhatt-Roberts

Trainee Dental Nurse/ reception

Devi has worked at the practice in various roles including trainee dental nurse, reception and general admin. She has worked at the surgery for the last 7 years. Having completed her A-levels last year, she has now taken on the role of trainee dental nurse.Devi is currently studying Dentistry at Bristol university and has just completed her 2nd year. 

Devi is a expert level skier and loves to get lost in a good book. She has recently taken up crochet and is busy creating clothing and jewellery in her spare time. 

Conor Sweeney

Administrator

Conor joined the team in 2021, he has a wealth of experience from a recruitment and marketing background.

He is currently helping to keep us from drowning in paperwork as a consequence of  Covid-19. As one of our newest members of staff we would like to welcome him to the team.

He is an accomplished chef and enjoys cooking elaborate meals for his family and friends. He also loves to ski and swim. 

Nirali Bhatt-Roberts

Administrator part-time. 

Nirali has worked at the surgery for many years and has turned her hand to any role that has been thrown at her. She has worked hard through the pandemic to liaise with patients before their appointments to ensure they understand our COVID protocols. 

Her passion is art, design and all things creative. She enjoys making hand made gifts for her family and friends. She is currently also studying for her masters in Architecture. 

Claire Yellow

Part Time Administrator 

Claire has supported the Team for several years and continues to help with web design and other admin roles. 

Claire loves the buzz of the busy practice and has enjoyed helping out during the pandemic.  Living just down the road from the surgery is convenient to allow Claire to step in to help at short notice - it's also great for popping home for lunch!

Robin Yellow

IT Consultant Volunteer

Robin maintains and advises the practice on all our IT needs and strategies.  He is often seen in the surgery with the back of a computer open, wires and cables everywhere.

Robin volunteers his time with us as his contribution to the NHS.
